Window Explorer Problems
This is how I fixed the problem with "Windows Explorer Stopped working". Is there any other methods to fix the problem? It is an official Microsoft tool available in windows to find and fix errors related to corrupted system files. I ticked all the boxes that made Chrome the default and I also changed the 'associate file types', and 'set program access' sections to Chrome where they could be selected. Great to find something that worked! I will be responding to the newer post on that idea. this website

I put a check mark in the boxes to stop the other two from starting up and that fixed my issue.

The CMD prompt suggestion to run SFC /Scannow will find system file problems, but this didn't solve the problem, there were no problems. Unpinned it from taskbar, repinned it and it now works.
