Driver updates for these printers, as well as support for new printer models and new printer manufacturers will only be tested on newer versions of Windows.

A Canon Pixma ip4200 is supported in 98 and up, and there were some models newer than that that still did too for awhile. Basically we are only allowed to use the software on the machines they provide, at ridiculous prices. I've tried a few other HP printers (officejet, deskjet, etc) on various other drivers and always come to the same issue, it doesn't think that USB001 is the correct port. That is great. This driver will be on the Win98 CD, just install using the normal method for 98. The good news: good pre-owned/Used printers are still available!
