Windows 98 Stuck On Loading Screen
From the directory I created on the hard drive. I have used D-fend for playing old DOS games on XP with sound but I have not used it for taking screen shots so I can't guarantee it will work. Thanks to Norton System Works along with other stuff I got at Office Depot shortly after that April Fool's Day in 2000, I got that machine working again. WINDOWS '98!!! Must be something in the controller for the later drives. What cpu and how much ram?

If I had liberty to do so, I'd reload this particular PC, and it looks like their RAM may have issues, which is very likely the freezing of course. Computer games can corrupt Windows files.
No warning, no errors. The RAM proved to be a problem. No, create an account now. Running Windows Scan Disk can correct some of these problems.
I have installed dozens of the these cards, and I have not as yet seen any difficulty. The reason I went to Win98 was because the old Dell WAS purchased with Window 98. It says "DISK BOOT FAILURE, INSERT SYSTEM DISK AND PRESS ENTER". Reset the BIOS to its default settings, ran setup from DOS, and....nothing.
