I have an ancient computer with win 98 and I just put in a ethernet port. I tried earlier and it didn't work. (I dragged + dropped) Is that what I do?

But for what ever reason the W98SE operating system is now not listing an NIC in Device Manager and only a dial up adapter that has a driver. Do not use or load this software and any associated materials (collectively, the "Software") until you have carefully read the following terms and conditions. Getting unknown drivers for Windows 98 is a little trickier than Windows XP and later. My goal is to fix the W98SE system so it can be used to get on line.
