- If it is an 80pin cable and the only drive you usually need it jumpered as CS and put on the end of the cable.

The IBM/Lenovo end-of-life archive only had .EXE files, no .ZIPs, bootable ISOs or Linux support at all for this model. We recommend Typical, which is the default. By default C:\Windows will be selected. If I burn that image to CD and install will it works. Perform a "dir" or just type "setup" and Windows 98 SE will install.
