Please don't fill out this field. Jre Download The reason for throwing such error is that JDK installer is written in Java, therefore you need to have JRE installed. I'm really getting confused as to why this is happening.

You seem to have CSS turned off. Yes you can. What OP hasn't told us is that he has confirmed his PATH with the -version tests. You need to have a Java SE (=standard edition) JDK installed before installing Java EE.
